Before Care

​

• Preschool 1 - Pre-K 4 students will be offered before care from 7:15 am – 8:30 am.  Note: preschool siblings that are dropped off before 8:30 am with an older sibling in K-8th grade must register and pay for beforecare.

• K – 8th grade students will be offered before care from 7:15 am to 7:45 am.  Note:  4th - 8th-grade students dropped off during this time will be walked to the Hive and South Campus by our staff once those campuses open.

• 5th – 8th grade students are accepted at the South Campus beginning at 7:30 am for academic assistance.  If you plan to drop this grade level student off at 7:30 am, you DO NOT NEED TO REGISTER THROUGH THIS SITE as there is no charge.  Carpool for that campus is 7:45 am - 8:10 am.

• ALL BEFORE-CARE DROP-OFFS ARE AT THE MAIN CAMPUS STINGERS SQUAD DOOR. This door is next to the Nave and there is a large sign that says Stingers Entrance.

After Care

​

• Preschool 1 - Pre-K 4 students will have 4 available pick-up time options.

• Kindergarten students will have 3 available pick-up time options.

• 1st – 8th-grade students will have 2 available pick-up time options.

• NOTE:  On Fridays with early release, there are additional pick-up time options for 1st - 8th grades.

Snacks

​

• Please provide your child with an extra snack clearly labeled “Stingers Squad” each day they attend aftercare.

​

Pick Up

​

• You will download the PikMyKid app to pick up your child. When you arrive at your designated pick-up location, you will "Announce" your child via PikMyKid, and your child will be brought to you.

 

Aftercare Pick-Up for PRESCHOOL (Main Campus)

• When you arrive on campus, please announce on PikMyKid, park in a reserved parking spot, and go to the Courtyard Door. This door is next to the Nave and there is a large sign that says Stingers Entrance.

Aftercare Pick-Up for Kindergarten (Main Campus)

• When you arrive on campus, please announce on PikMyKid, park in a reserved parking spot, and go to the Stingers Squad Door. This door is next to the Nave and there is a large sign that says Stingers Entrance.

Aftercare Pick-Up for 1st-4th GRADE (Main Campus)

​

• On Monday through Thursday, if your child is in aftercare and you arrive before 4:15 pm or after the carpool is over, park and come to the Stingers Squad door after announcing on PikMyKid.

• On Monday through Thursday, if your child is in aftercare and you arrive after 4:15 pm or if your child is in a Club, [underlined text should link to the new Clubs page discussed above] you will need to enter the carpool line, announce on PikMyKid, and pick your child up in carpool. As long as you announce before the carpool ends, you will not be billed for a late departure even if you receive your child after 4:30 pm.

• On Friday, all aftercare pickup for Kindergarten through 4th grade is at the Stingers Squad door, and all Club pickup for 1st-4th grade is in Club carpool beginning at 3:45 pm.

• The Stingers Squad door is next to the Nave and there is a large sign that says Stingers Entrance.

• As a reminder, the 4th grade Stingers Squad will be on Main Campus.

Aftercare Pick-Up for 5th-8th GRADE (South Campus)

​

• When you arrive on South Campus, please announce on PikMyKid. Follow the usual carpool route around the building and pull up at the front door. 

​

REGISTRATION AND COMMITMENT

​

• Registration must be completed twice during an academic school year: Fall Semester (August – December) and Spring Semester (January – May). You must register before December 17, 2023, to be guaranteed a spot in the Stingers Squad program for Spring Semester 2024. There will be limited enrollment.  Waitlists will be available, and we will open additional groups once the waitlist reaches the minimum number of students to support staffing another group.

• Registration into the program is a commitment to utilizing Stingers Squad before and/or after-school care for the entire semester.

• To ensure appropriate student/caregiver ratios, we must know the total enrollment before the semester begins.  We may not be able to accommodate drop-ins.

• You may select from a variety of pick-up times each day to create the schedule that works best for your family. We cannot accommodate any special rates for fewer hours used. You must select from our standard pickup times.

EMERGENCY CARE

​

• If an emergency arises and you are unable to pick up your student, please email Stingers Squad at stingerssquad@stbs.org to inquire if space is available.  If approved, the student may stay at the emergency drop-in rate of $15.00 per hour. Drop-ins may be accommodated depending on space availability. We do have the right to refuse a drop-in should we be overbooked on that day.

PAYMENTS AND FEES

​

• Extended daycare may be paid in full at the time of registration or divided into 4 equal payments (monthly). Monthly payments will be drafted to the payment method on file, in advance, with the first payment due on January 16, 2024, and the last payment due on April 15, 2024.

• There is a $5.00 processing fee due at the time of registration.

• Any registered student who remains after their scheduled pickup time will be charged $15.00 per hour for the extended time. 

• Any registered student who remains after 6:00 pm will be charged $1.00 per minute for the extended time. 

• If you have an emergency and need emergency care, and have called or emailed ahead of time to arrange this with Stingers Squad, then the charge will be $15.00 per hour in extended daycare. 

• We understand that emergencies do happen which could make you unable to pick up your student on time. However, please keep in mind that our staff are scheduled to leave at 6:00 pm. Any time a student remains after 6:00 pm, it may place a hardship on our staff.

UNEXPECTED CLOSURE

​

• To guarantee staff continuity, should Stingers Squad need to close at any time for 10 days or less, no refunds will be issued. This will allow our students to return to the same Stingers Squad staff they had during the time of closure.

• If Stingers Squad remains closed beyond 10 consecutive business days, scheduled payments will be put on hold. If applicable, refunds will be issued at 100% for the period after the 10 consecutive days to the end of the prepaid period. Refunds are issued only if the unused days exceed 30 full days (which is the basis for any proration).

• Should Stingers Squad reopen, payments will be reactivated and prorated according to the remaining time left in the semester.

CANCELLATIONS AND REFUNDS 

​

• There are no cancellations and/or refunds once before/after care begins each semester.

• Once the semester has begun, if you want to change the specific days your child attends but not the overall number of days in a week, one change per semester is allowed without an additional charge.  Afterward, regardless of the change, any additional changes will be billed a $25.00 fee per change.

• If you need to make a change to your schedule, you must get written permission from the Head of Auxiliary Programming 72 hours before the effective date of the change. This allows us to guarantee appropriate student/caregiver ratios.

• No refund or credit will be given for early pick-up or unused days.
