The Rev. Brian Sullivan grew up in Cobb County, attended Holy Innocents’ Episcopal School and graduated from Walton High School in 1989. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts from the University of Georgia before attending The General Theological Seminary in New York City where he received his Master of Divinity in 1997. He received his Master of Education from Mercer University in May 2017. Before becoming Head of School at St. Benedict’s Episcopal School, he was the rector of St. Benedict’s Episcopal Church. As a parish priest, he served at St. Peter’s in Rome, Georgia, St. Anne’s in Atlanta, and Church of the Incarnation in Highlands, North Carolina.
He has been married to Mindy Sullivan since 2000, and they have three beautiful children- Maggie (age 17), Lexi (age 15) and Ase, (age 13). In his free time, he enjoys running, biking, fly-fishing, watching his children play soccer and occasionally partakes in “a good walk spoiled” by chasing a white ball around 18 holes.
