About Me
Dr. Jeff Rumiano has taught English for the past 10 years. Born in Atlanta, he studied English at the University of Georgia (BA) and at Georgia State University (MA and PhD). He believes that, in addition to helping students build strong foundations in writing and analytical/critical thinking, one of his primary goals is to help students appreciate the beauty of literature. When away from school, he enjoys spending every moment he can with his wife Elena and their two dogs Tova, named after the Russian poet Anna Akhmatova, and Oscar, named after the English writer Oscar Wilde. From 1994 to the present, he has learned to begrudgingly accept the disappointment that the Buffalo Bills cause during each NFL season.
