Child Development Associate (CDA)
Jeanett Espitia is originally from Colombia and has a Business Administration background. She has two children; Natalia is 27 and Julian is 25. Because of her son’s special needs, Jeanett decided to dedicate part of her time to understand about the kid’s learning and evolution, so that later on she can share her knowledge with other parents. Jeannett has held her Child Development Associate (CDA) and Substitute Teacher Credentials since 2014. This has enabled her with professional experience ranging from nursery all the way to first grade levels. Jeanett is knowledgeable with planning age appropriate lesson plans/activities according to several curriculums within the COR areas of Math, Science, Art, Language Arts and Literacy, Social/Emotional, Music and Movement. Jeanett is fluent in Spanish and considers this an asset in the multidisciplinary methodologies that she implements. Her biggest reward is to experience the way in which each child grows and learns from every stimulus around them. For this reason, she considers well stablished and solid foundations in the education of our kids are key for their development. Jeanett has an “open-door policy” in which she strongly invites parents to get involved in the different activities to strength the learning process.
