LeAnne Klein grew up in a small, rural farm town called Iva, South Carolina. She quickly picked up a talent for softball that would earn her a college scholarship. During college, LeAnne met her husband, Nathan, in Clemson, SC and they never looked back. LeAnne, along with her husband and two daughters, moved to Smyrna in 2013. Over her 6 plus years in Smyrna, she has managed a pediatric speech therapy clinic and coached a lot of girl’s fast pitch softball, including two years as Middle Learning coach at The Galloway School. Working with children is one of her passions, and she has nurtured that passion for 20 years on many different platforms. Prior to her move to Smyrna, she served as a K-3/K-4 teacher and preschool director at Iva First Learning Center. LeAnne’s experience and love for children has led her to St. Benedict’s and she is so excited to be on this journey with our school.
Away from school, LeAnne coaches a travel softball team, gives private pitching lessons, sings in her church choir, and spends as much time as she can at her family’s lake house. LeAnne is an avid wakeboarder along with her husband, Nate and their daughters, Kaya and Kadence. Their two dogs, Gypsy and Honey, have even been known to wake surf a time or two. When they are not spending time on the lake, they are watching their daughters compete in different athletics and activities. They love the Smyrna community and are happy to call it home.
