Meghan McNamara is currently in her 11th year of teaching and is one of the Learning Resource Teachers here at St. Benedict’s Episcopal School. Throughout her teaching career, she has taught Kindergarten, 2nd grade and 5th grade. Prior to becoming a Learning Resource Teacher, Mrs. McNamara was one of the 5th grade teacher at St. B’s and also worked for several years at a private school back home. As a Learning Resource Teacher, Mrs. McNamara now works with students in both 5th and 6th grades.
Shortly after getting married six year ago, she and her husband, Sean, moved to Atlanta from a suburb of Buffalo, New York. Before receiving her Master’s Degree in Education, Mrs. McNamara was a Collateral Analyst in Commercial Lending for a large bank. Mrs. McNamara and her husband love working in their yard and spending time outside. They also enjoy traveling and being by water as much as possible. They have a very energetic 5 year old dog, Beau, who keeps them very busy playing fetch. One of Mr. and Mrs. McNamara’s favorite things to do is to spend time with friends and try out the newest places in and around Atlanta! They also never miss an opportunity to cheer on the Buffalo Bills each weekend during football season!
