Tuition & Financial Aid

How We Help

​St. Benedict's is dedicated to offering the best education for your student while keeping tuition affordable.  St. Benedict's Episcopal School has limited financial aid to award to families. This aid is awarded based on financial need. Each family who receives a financial aid award should expect to pay some tuition, as there are no full tuition awards. Financial Aid awards are a means of making St. Benedict's Episcopal School accessible to children who, regardless of race, sexual orientation, color, creed or national origin, through meeting the requirements for admission, are not able to meet part of the expenses without financial assistance.​

  • Financial aid is awarded once a year based on financial need. 

  • Families who receives a financial aid award should expect to pay some tuition, as there are no full tuition awards. 

  • Financial aid applications for the 2020 – 2021 school year are due no later than March 13, 2019. 

  • Completing the financial aid process requires applicants to file their current year tax returns ahead of the financial aid application (before March 15) so that eligibility can be verified by the FACTS system. 

  • Once financial aid is verified FACTS will make aid recommendations which are reviewed and finalized by the finance committee based on the amount of aid available. 

  • Financial Aid awards are a means of making St. Benedict's Episcopal School accessible to children who, regardless of race, sexual orientation, color, creed or national origin, through meeting the requirements for admission, are not able to meet part of the expenses without financial assistance.

  • The application for financial aid should be submitted with the application for admission to the school.  

  • Families applying for financial aid must still go through the enrollment process, which includes making the full deposit by February 22, 2020. 

  • If financial aid is awarded, the financial aid award and paid deposit will be deducted from the total tuition balance and then applied to the payment plan selected. 

  • Financial aid decisions will be communicated in early April. 

 

To begin the Financial Aid Application process

  • Log into FACTS, our online tuition billing system and financial aid portal.  

  • On the first page you will be asked to sign in or to create an account.  

  • If you are new to St. Benedict's, you need to create an account.  

  • Once your account is completed, FACTS will display instructions along with a video to help you through the process.

Additional Expenses

Middle School Students are required to purchase a Chromebook from St. Benedict's for $300 in their 6th Grade Year for use during their 6th through 8th Grade years.  New students entering 7th or 8th Grades for the 2019-2020 Academic Year will also be required to purchase a Chromebook from St. Benedict's. 

 

Uniforms are required for Kindergarten through 8th Grad. Cost will vary by grade, and uniforms, outerwear and PE uniforms are available for purchase through Lands End. Used uniforms are available for purchase through our Parent Association before the start of school. 

 

School lunches are available through a catering service and cost will vary.

 

Alternatively, lunches may be brought from home. 

Tuition Schedule

  • February 22, 2019

    • Deposit of $1,600 for Preschool and $2,200 for K-8 due for returning students  

  • April 11, 2019

    • Deposit due for new students 

    • A transaction fee of $65 per payment applies to the 2 and 10 payment plans 

    • The remaining tuition balance may be paid in one of four ways:

      • Pay it now (due February 22, 2019)

      • One payment (due June 1, 2019)

      • Two payments (due June 1 and November 1, 2019)

      • Ten payments (beginning April 1, 2019  and ending January 1, 2020)
