The first few weeks of extended care have been amazing! Since school started, our aftercare students have participated in a wide variety of activities, including icebreakers to get to know each other, tie-dye, self-portrait art, footprint bee art, dominoes, water play, making emotion/stress balls, 3D houses, cereal art, writing short stories, crafting paper pizzas and chef hats, clay sculptures, various games, popsicle stick sculptures, finger painting, jars of emotions, photo apple trees, paper octopuses, slime, shaving cream sensory play, outdoor activities, and so much more.
Early Dismissal Fun: Mini Field Day
During the early dismissal day at the end of August, the students enjoyed a mini Field Day! All activities are age-appropriate and tailored to the classes involved. We hope you’re following along with our after-school activities by checking Kaymbu (for preschoolers) and our photo album (for all ages).
Join Us: Kindergarten-8th Grade Art Expo
This month, we’d like to invite you to our first Stingers Squad event of the school year: the Kindergarten through 8th Grade Art Expo, happening at 5:00 p.m. on Friday, September 27, 2024. The event will be held on the Main Campus blacktop, near the large playground.
We hope students participating in our Club Program have enjoyed the first few weeks of clubs. We’ve received great feedback from students and have seen many fun photos being shared with parents!
As always, Stingers Squad welcomes your questions and feedback. You can reach us at stingerssquad@stbs.org or (678) 388-1521.
