STEAM Week, March 16–20, 2026, gave us the opportunity to pause and celebrate the work that is already happening in our classrooms every day.

February has been full of steady routines and happy moments in Stingers Squad. Across before care, after care, and clubs, students have spent their time settling in, connecting with friends, completing homework when needed, and jumping into activities that keep them moving and engaged. This time of year always brings a fun mix of winter energy and spring anticipation, and lately one topic has been coming up a lot with our students and families: summer. Registration for Summer

The Science Buddies Ball Run Challenge gives students a chance to design with purpose. Through hands-on STEAM learning, students explore creativity and problem-solving while contributing to a challenge that supports our school and community.

St. Benedict’s Episcopal School is excited to share that Ava Lynn Freeman, a 6th grade student, earned international recognition in the 2025 Junior Scholars Essay Contest.

Abbie Gould ’18 began her journey at St. Benedict’s in kindergarten and graduated in eighth grade, carrying with her the values and relationships that shaped her early years.

. As part of our monthly STEAM series, I put together a Holiday STEAM Gift Guide filled with some of my favorite classroom-tested games and tools that encourage problem solving, imagination, and joyful learning.

As this final phase of the Acorn Fund comes to a close, we are reminded of the countless moments of connection that make St. Benedict’s such a special place.

November was a joyful month in Stingers Squad, filled with Thanksgiving-themed activities, creative crafts, and two full days of Stingers Unplugged.

St. Benedict’s Episcopal School is welcoming the season of generosity with something extra special this year. Phase 4 of our Acorn Fund will take place from Monday, December 1, 2025 through Sunday, December 7, 2025, aligning beautifully with GAgives Day and Giving Tuesday (Tuesday, December 2, 2025).
