Thank you to all our amazing teachers, special guests, and students for an enriching month of Hispanic Heritage and Culture. Our students learned about influential artists like Frida Kahlo and participated in many fun, educational activities and lessons throughout the month.
"We, the Spanish teachers at St. Benedict's, are pleased to share and to teach our culture," said Middle School Spanish Teacher Ximena Ford. "This year the students had the chance to learn more about the history behind Hispanic Heritage Month."
The celebration culminated with a wonderful program in the Nave featuring interactive music and dance. The performers shared the historical relevance for each demonstration, and invited volunteers up on stage to make up their own moves to the music!
