We want you to get excited about joining our amazing community! Families are invited to stop by the administrative office on our Main Campus throughout the summer to pick up your student's welcome gifts. These include a New Student Yard Sign, a grade-level T-shirt, and required new Preschool Tote Bags (for preschool families). Pick-Up Hours: Monday through Thursday, 9:00 A.M. to 2:30 P.M.

All preschool students are required to carry an official St. Benedict’s tote bag and should bring it with them on the very first day of class. Monogramming or personalizing the student’s name on the bag is completely optional. If desired, personalization should be handled independently by the parent. Our community partner, Marshmallow Dream, offers customization options for your convenience.

Our first day of classes is scheduled for Wednesday, August 12th, 2026, and will follow our standard school schedule. A list of the 2026-2027 key dates can be found here. Please review the standard division hours and carpool windows below:

Summer Assignments: Required summer coursework is available for all rising 1st, 2nd, 3rd, and 4th-grade students. Please download the appropriate grade-level packet from below to complete before the first day of school. To ensure our school nursing staff can safely care for and support your child, please complete any applicable medical action plan forms: Authorization to Dispense Medication (required for all over-the-counter and prescription medications) Food Allergy Action Plan Asthma Action Plan Seizure Action Plan Required State Health Forms: Every student must also submit a copy of Georgia Immunization Form 3231 (Preschool 1st through 8th grade) and a Hearing, Vision, Dental, and Nutrition Form 2200 (Kindergarten through 8th grade). Updated forms are required for the new school year, even if no changes have occurred.  Please request these documents from your pediatrician's office, scan them, and email them directly to forms@stbs.org. Alternatively, you may submit them to the front office or mail them to our main address at 2160 Cooper Lake Road, Smyrna, GA 30080.

Digital literacy is part of our academic experience, and St. Benedict's operates as a 1:1 technology school. Please review the grade-level specifications below: Grades 1–4 (iPad Mini): All students in 1st through 4th grade are required to bring their own iPad Mini to school daily. Families must purchase this device independently. The device must be an iPad Mini (5th generation or newer) capable of running the latest iPadOS version and updating seamlessly throughout its multi-year school use. To prevent damage, devices must be kept in a durable, protective case (such as Otterbox or Gumdrop), preferably featuring an integrated kickstand. (Note: 4th-grade students will also practice transitioning to computers using an in-class set of school-provided Chromebooks, so no additional computer purchase is needed). Grades 5–8 (Chromebook): Middle school students will receive a school-issued Chromebook at the start of the school year. The device, along with its required protective black case, is fully covered by tuition and fees. Students are expected to maintain their device in its assigned case at all times.

Kindergarten - 8th Grade - Uniforms are required for all Kindergarten through 8th grade students. These can be purchased through Lands’ End. The document explaining the uniform requirements can be found here. We encourage you to order early in the summer to allow plenty of time for shipment before the first day of school.  Preschool - Preschool students do not wear uniforms, but are required to carry a St. Benedict’s tote bag and should bring it on the first day of class. You can pick up the bags by stopping by the school throughout the summer.  Parent Association Used Uniform Sale The Parent Association hosts an annual used uniform sale each July—an easy way to prepare for the school year. Dates and details will be included in your Fall 2026 Welcome Email.

The St. Benedict's Parent Association (PA) extends a warm and enthusiastic welcome to all of our incoming families! We look forward to building a vibrant community with you. These casual gatherings are an excellent opportunity to meet fellow parents and students before the school year kicks off. Grade-Level Summer Socials The Parent Association hosts annual grade-level (Preschool - 8th grade) socials for both current and new families. These gatherings offer a great opportunity to connect with the St. B’s community and meet other families before the school year begins. Gatherings are in the blacktop of the main campus. The Stingers Squad encompasses all of our before and after-school care options, afterschool enrichment clubs, school-break auxiliary camps (Stingers Unplugged), and summer camp offerings. Extended care and enrichment club registrations are combined into a single, unified online portal process each semester. Fall Registration Dates:  Registration for fall before-and-after-care opens on July 20, 2026, and closes on August 5, 2026. Meeting this deadline is vital, as the school cannot guarantee extended care availability for any registrations completed after August 5th. Late enrichment club registrations may be submitted via email to clubs@stbs.org until August 21, 2026. There's still time to register for Summer Camp at St. B’s!  Attending a summer camp at St. B's is a great way to get acclimated to our community and meet future friends. Summer camp is open to the public for rising PreK through 8th grade students. Our new rising 1- through 3-year-olds who are enrolled for August 2026 are now eligible to begin as early as June 1, 2026 through our summer camp program.
