Mark Your Calendars: St. B’s Community Fun Run Returns October 18, 2025

St. Benedict's Episcopal School’s Parent Association is excited to invite the St. B’s community to our 14th Annual Fun Run on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 7:30 A.M. to 10:00 A.M.

This fun-filled event kicks off with Bib Pickup and Race Day Registration opening at 7:30 A.M. Races begin at 9:00 A.M., starting with the Tot Trot for our youngest runners, followed by multiple heats of the one-mile race for students, parents, staff, and alumni. After the race, enjoy raffle drawings, snacks, and a dance party! The awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 A.M. This annual tradition is fun for everyone—even if running isn’t your thing!

We can’t do it without you—volunteers are essential! From setting up and marking the course to directing runners and supporting the medical tent, there are many ways to help. This is also a fantastic opportunity for Stinger alumni to reconnect with classmates and earn volunteer hours. With more than 70 volunteer slots available, please sign up today!

Fun Facts About This Year’s Fun Run

• Everyone runs together! Students, staff, alumni, and parents will all participate in the one-mile race. Every registrant will receive a chipped bib and an official time. Parents, alumni, and staff should select “I am not a student” when prompted to choose a grade level during registration (K–8 siblings of current students should select their actual grade).

• Tie-dyed T-shirts are back! Order your shirt—even if you don’t race—through the registration site. Register by September 26 to guarantee your size. After this date, sizing cannot be guaranteed and the price increases by $3.

• T-shirt pickup will be at school. Families will have multiple opportunities the week of the race to collect their shirts. Dates and times will be announced soon.

• Spirit Wear Day! Students and faculty will celebrate on Friday, October 18 by wearing any Fun Run T-shirt (from this year or past years) with uniform bottoms.

• Pre-Race Day Registration closes October 16. You can still register on race day starting at 7:30 A.M., but there’s an additional $5 fee per entry.
