Better Together Stories: Lifting Each Other Higher
During a day of zip lines and challenge courses at Treetop Quest, St. Benedict’s fifth through eighth graders discovered that courage grows stronger in community. With teachers and students cheering one another through every obstacle, the trip became a lesson in trust, teamwork, and belonging. It was a reminder that at St. B’s, we lift each other higher.

They hiked steep trails, prayed at The Cross, splashed in Little Toccoa Creek, and supported one another through homesickness and challenge. Moments of courage, kindness, and joy reminded them that belonging is more than a feeling—it’s the foundation that gives students confidence to try, to lead, and to grow in faith and friendship.
