February has been full of steady routines and happy moments in Stingers Squad. Across before care, after care, and clubs, students have spent their time settling in, connecting with friends, completing homework when needed, and jumping into activities that keep them moving and engaged. This time of year always brings a fun mix of winter energy and spring anticipation, and lately one topic has been coming up a lot with our students and families: summer.
Registration for Summer Camp 2026 is now open, and it is a great time to start looking at options. St. Benedict's has a long-standing tradition of offering exceptional, affordable summer camps to St. Benedict's families and the public. Each year, families can choose from a wide variety of camp experiences, including educational opportunities, sports-themed camps, and creative or exploratory programs. With so many choices, it is easy to find something that fits your child’s interests and your family’s summer schedule.
Week 1 gives a helpful snapshot of the variety offered, and the following camps listed are just a few of the options available. Younger campers can build confidence and have fun in Gymnastics Camp for rising Pre-K and Kindergarten students. Rising 1st through 4th grade students have active options like Tennis For Kids Camp and World Cup Soccer Camp. Students who enjoy hands-on learning can explore Robotics Academy for rising 2nd through 5th grade. Older students can try S.T.E.A.M. Sports, which is designed for rising 5th through 8th grade and combines movement with creative thinking. Spots can fill quickly, so families are encouraged to register early to secure their preferred weeks and camps.

As you plan ahead, please also keep the end of the month in mind. Thursday, February 26, 2026 is an early dismissal day for all ages due to family conferences. Stingers Unplugged will not be available that day, so all students must be picked up at dismissal. Preschool dismissal is at 11:00 A.M., and Kindergarten through 8th grade dismissal is at 12:00 P.M. There is also no Stingers Unplugged available during family conferences on Friday, February 27, 2026. Thank you for planning ahead and helping dismissal run smoothly.
As always, Stingers Squad welcomes your questions and feedback. We can be reached at stingerssquad@stbs.org or (678) 388-1521.
