St. Benedict's Episcopal School in Smyrna, Georgia, is accepting applications for the 2022-2023 academic year for Preschool (starting at 1-year-old) through 8th grade. There are only limited spaces available, so we invite you to apply today before spaces are filled.
Here at St. Benedict's, we nurture growth so that our students become confident, courageous, and compassionate leaders. We plant the seeds for critical thinking, creativity, and a lifelong love of learning. Our Preschool - 8th grade model allows students to learn at an age-appropriate level. It's how we have created an environment where children can be children.
STEAM integration is fully incorporated in every classroom at St. Benedict's, beginning in Preschool through 8th grade.
The Spanish curriculum is a core class at every grade level, taught by native-speaking teachers. Through songs, stories, and interactive lessons, students build a strong vocabulary foundation that allows them to understand key commands and phrases. Through conversation, literature, and grammar, students begin to read and write in Spanish and fine-tune those skills in middle school. Because of the emphasis placed on Spanish in Preschool-8th grade, our graduates typically enter high school Spanish as second-or-third year students.
St. Benedict's graduates are accepted into well-known independent high schools as well as Cobb County Magnet and IB programs, including Atlanta Girls' School, Campbell IB, Cobb County Center For Excellence in the Performing Arts, Galloway School, Holy Innocents' Episcopal School, Holy Spirit Preparatory School, The Lovett School, The Mount Vernon School, Pace Academy, Wheeler Magnet, The Walker School, Westminster, Whitefield Academy, Woodward Academy, and others.
We offer a personalized approach to building supportive communities for every student through social-emotional learning.
