Known, Supported and Celebrated: The Frost Family’s St. B’s Story
For the Frost family, St. Benedict’s is more than the place their daughter, Sonni, comes to learn each day. It has become a community where their family feels known, supported and welcomed exactly as they are.
“St. Benedict’s has been a second home for our family. The kindness, faith and genuine care we’ve felt here has made all the difference. St. B’s is a place where we feel known, supported and welcomed exactly as we are. For us, St. B’s is not just a school, it’s a family.”
That sense of belonging extends to Sonni’s experience as a student. At St. Benedict’s, she is surrounded by teachers who recognize her gifts, encourage her growth and give her the confidence to be herself.
“Sonni has experienced what it means to be part of a community that sees her, encourages her gifts and helps her grow with confidence and kindness. Sonni is known and celebrated for who she is and has been given the confidence to be herself, all while being surrounded by teachers who genuinely love her.”
Being known, supported and celebrated is at the heart of the St. Benedict’s experience. It can be seen in the relationships students build with their teachers, the opportunities they have to discover their strengths and the care that helps each child grow academically, socially and spiritually.
Stories like the Frost family’s remind us why the Annual Acorn Campaign matters.
This week marks Phase Two of this year’s campaign, and we are grateful to the many families who have already made a gift in support of St. Benedict’s.
Our goal this year is $220,000. Unrestricted gifts to the Acorn Fund help strengthen important priorities throughout the school, including professional development, technology, our Spanish program and enrichment opportunities that enhance the student experience.
Every gift, at every level, helps support the people, programs and experiences that make moments of connection, growth and belonging possible for students like Sonni.
As Phase Two begins, we invite our St. Benedict’s community to join us in supporting this year’s Annual Acorn Campaign and helping ensure that every student continues to feel known, supported and celebrated.
