St. Benedict’s Episcopal School Gears Up for 14th Annual Fun Run & Community Celebration

St. Benedict's Episcopal School's Parent Association is excited to invite the St. B's community to join us at our 14th Annual Fun Run on Saturday, October 18, 2025, from 7:30 A.M. through 10:00 A.M.

This fun-filled event will kick off with Bib Pickup and Race Day registration opening at 7:30 A.M. Races will begin at 9:00 A.M., with a Tot Trot for the littles, followed by multiple heats of our student, parent, staff and alumni one-mile race. Post-race, all runners will enjoy raffle drawings, snacks, and a dance party. Our awards ceremony will begin around 9:45 A.M. This annual event is fun for all, even if running isn't your thing!

To pull it off, we need tons of volunteers. From setting up, marking the course, directing runners and even lending a hand in our medical tent! This is a great opportunity for our Stinger alumni to connect with former classmates AND gain volunteer hours! We have more than 70 volunteer slots available – please sign up today by clicking here!

Here are some fun facts about this year's Fun Run:

Students, staff, alumni and parents will all run together this year! Everyone who registers for the one-mile race will receive a chipped bib and an official time. If you are a parent, alumni or staff member and want to run the race, please choose “I am not a student” when selecting a grade during the registration process (K-8^th siblings of current St. B’s students can select their applicable grade).
The highly coveted tie-dyed T-shirts are available on the registration site, even if you don't race! Please register by September 26^th to guarantee your t-shirt size. T-shirt size can’t be guaranteed after this date and the price will increase by $3.
T-shirts will be picked up at the school this year! To ensure correct sizing and receipt of all ordered t-shirts, there will be a few opportunities for families to pick up their t-shirts the week of the race. Dates and times for pick-up are TBD, but will be communicated in the coming weeks.
Students and Faculty will show off this year's t-shirt with a Fun Run spirit wear day at school on Friday, October 18. Your Stinger can wear any Fun Run T-shirt (current year or past!) with uniform bottoms.
Pre-Race Day Registration closes on October 16. You can still register on race day at 7:30 A.M., but it will cost you an extra $5 (per entry).
