St. Benedict's Episcopal School is excited to share a new lineup of Summer Camp offerings for our 2023 Summer Camp. Summer is just around the corner, and the time to plan and register for summer camp is here! With nine weeks of camps for all ages starting May 30, 2023, and running through July 24, 2023, there's something for everyone to explore!
St. Benedict's has a long-standing tradition of offering exceptional, affordable Summer Camps open to St. Benedict's families and the public. From camps with an educational component to sports-themed camps, from explorers to artists, and everything in between, parents and their students are sure to find options to suit their interests and availability this summer.
Dr. Caroline Diaz was named School Program Director and a member of the school's leadership team in October 2022. Overseeing all school programming related to activities both during the day and after school, she is incredibly passionate about taking St. Benedict's Summer Camps to the next level.
"As a kid, summer was the time when I felt the most awe, soaking in the sun, playing in the yard, and just finding the amazing in the ordinary," says Dr. Diaz. "That is what we wanted to offer in our Summer Camps this year: a space for our campers to enjoy the deliciousness of Summer with a robust offering of camps to build connections, encourage creative growth, and engage in physical and artistic pursuits."
This summer, St. Benedict's will bring back perennial camper favorites llike Spanish Cooking Camp, Snapology, and Wizard Camp, in addition to offering new sessions, like Baby B's camp, exclusively for one and two-year-olds. St. B's will also continue to provide camp sessions with trusted partners like Jitterbug Performing Arts and Chess2Children. Various STEAM camps that cultivate innovation, critical thinking, and problem-solving will be offered as well for all age groups! Another popular feature as the weather warms, water play will also be incorporated this year, as well as in-house field trips like Petting Zoo and Children's Museum. This year, St. Benedicts will also offer extended before and after care for families needing extra time to maximize convenience for parents.
Before care costs (7:30 A.M - 9:00 A.M.): $21/day or $53/week
Aftercare costs (3:00 P.M. - 6:00 P.M.): $42/day or $105/week
