Stingers Squad August Recap: Back-to-School Buzz, Summer Highlights & Fall Preview

After an amazing summer full of camps, the Auxiliary Programming team (a.k.a. Stingers Squad) is thrilled to be back for the new school year! From extended care to Clubs to Stingers Unplugged days, we are proud to have provided quality care and fun programming for over 430 St. B’s students during the 2024–25 school year, and we are ready for tons of fun this school year!

Stay Updated

Don’t forget to join Stingers Squad’s shared Google photo album, which enables us to provide parents with a more in-depth look at what students are doing during extended care. In the settings, you can select whether or not you'd like to be alerted when new photos are added. (Note: In addition to the photo album, weekly newsletters will be sent via email for all preschoolers in aftercare.)

Family Engagement

Throughout the year, Stingers Squad will host occasional family engagement events, where parents are invited to join in on the fun! Please join us for our first family engagement event of the year—Family Game Night—on Friday, September 19, from 5:00–6:00 P.M.

Early Dismissal: Stingers Unplugged

Friday, August 29, 2025, is the first early dismissal day of the school year, and Stingers Unplugged will be available from dismissal until 4:00 P.M.

• If your student is signed up for aftercare on Fridays, no action is required for them to stay in aftercare on the 29th.

• If your student is not signed up for aftercare on Fridays, please email stingerssquad@stbs.org and copy your child’s teacher to let everyone know that you need your child to attend aftercare on August 29.

Please note: On August 29, all students must be picked up by 4:00 P.M. (even if you are registered for the 6:00 P.M. pickup on regular Fridays).
